Screw Machining of Stainless Steel Check Valve Assembly for the Air Pressure Regulation Industry

Used within a fluid control instrumentation application, the check valve assembly pictured to the left is manufactured and assembled by the skilled technicians at Fairchild Auto-Mated Parts, Inc. We also design all test fixtures that are used for the production of this unit. With our single-spindle screw machine, assembly press, and custom-designed test fixture, we build these valves from T303 stainless steel, while meeting ultra-tight tolerances of ± .001". The finished parts measure 3/8" in outside raw material diameter and .385" in length.

Each manufactured check valve possesses a smooth, 32 RA finish and can operate within temperatures ranging from 0° to 450° Fahrenheit. We also coin a seat with ball feature to limit any possible leakage. Once all finished products are tested to ensure they meet customer specifications, we then package all items into individual cells and ship them to various locations throughout the United States.
